UK Aluminium provides a guarantee on all aluminium doors and window profiles from the date of delivery. Should a defect occur within the warranty period, we will replace the faulty component.

• Aluminium profiles: 10-year guarantee

• Glass: 5-year guarantee

• Locks & hardware: 2-year guarantee

These warranties commence from the delivery date and are subject to normal wear and tear.

Wear & Tear Exclusions

​

The following are not covered under the warranty:

• Minor scratches on handles (doors and windows)

• Scratches on doors caused by keys or keyrings

• Marks, scratches, or pitting on hardware

• Glass damage or breakage not reported on delivery

• Broken or snapped keys within locks

Labour costs associated with replacement items are not covered. The guarantee does not extend to damage resulting from misuse, neglect, or failure to carry out routine maintenance.

Replacement components will maintain the original warranty period, commencing from the initial sale date.

​

The guarantee applies solely to products supplied and installed within the United Kingdom.

Claims Procedure

​

All warranty claims must be submitted in writing to contact@ukaluminium.com. Photographic evidence may be requested to support your claim.

Guarantee Exclusions

​

The guarantee does not cover:

• Accidental damage, including glass breakage, blockages, or misuse

• Glass breakages identified after delivery (all issues must be reported upon receipt)

• Fading or discoloration

• Insect penetration, misting, or mould growth

• Issues arising from inadequate maintenance or improper use

The decision to repair or replace components rests with the installing company. This guarantee is non-transferable.

Maintenance Instructions

​

To ensure longevity, regular maintenance is recommended, particularly in coastal, industrial, or high-traffic locations.

• Clean surfaces with warm, soapy water and a lint-free cloth, then dry with a soft cloth.

• All hardware (excluding sliding door tracks) should be cleaned and lightly oiled every six months.

Do not:

• Use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads

• Use pressure washers or steam cleaners

• Apply bleach or solvent solutions

• Apply adhesives or tacky substances
